Online Returns PolicyHere at St Lucia, we want you to love your purchase. If you aren't completely happy with your purchase, you can easily return to us for a store credit.

A store credit will be issued once we have received the garment and it adheres to the returns criteria below. All credit notes are valid for 6 months from issue date and will be sent via email. Online credit notes are redeemable online only and cannot be accepted in store at this time.

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend that you obtain a copy of the tracking information, as we do not accept responsibility for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

You will need to send back your purchase within 14 days of receiving.

Returns Criteria

The garment must be in its original condition (unworn and unwashed) with all tags attached.

Garments must not be damaged or altered. This includes stained by fake tan, ink stains or make up, and must not smell of perfume, deodorant or laundry detergent.

Must not be a final sale item.

For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on jewellery.

Returns on Clearance Items

Returns on clearance/final sale items will not be accepted unless faulty

Afterpay Returns

If you wish to return your item/s purchased via Afterpay, you must follow the same Exchange/Returns guidelines stated above.

Once your item/s have been received and processed we will contact you via email with your online store credit and details that you can apply to your next purchase with us.

Please be aware that your continued repayments from your initial Afterpay purchase will continue to be debited from your nominated account.

Online Returns Instore

Online orders can be returned in either our Subiaco or Joondalup stores for a credit note or exchange only.

Instore Returns

Store purchases can be returned instore within 14 days for a credit note or exchange only.


We are not legally obliged to give refunds of the purchase price on items, or exchange due to change of mind or made a wrong selection.

Faulty items

We pride ourselves on selling quality items and personally inspect all pieces before sending them out to their new homes. However, in the rare instance an item may be found faulty; St Lucia Boutique must be notified within 3 days of receiving the item. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have inspected the item upon receiving it (online and in store). If a fault is found after that timeframe, we will unfortunately not accept it.

In accordance with consumer affairs laws in Australia, if an item is found to be faulty due to:

  • General wear and tear
  • Obvious misuse
  • Care instructions have not been followed correctly
  • Item has been damaged in transit by the carrier

We will be unable to offer a credit, replacement or refund.

Aside from the above, if your item is deemed faulty and has taken place in a reasonable time frame since purchase then we are happy to offer you the purchase price and postage in full.

To ensure that we are being fair on everyone, there will be no exceptions made to our policy under any circumstances.

St Lucia's return policy is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If you are not satisfied with your purchase and you wish to return the item, and it adheres to the returns criteria below, you will receive an online or in store credit note. We do not offer a refund for change of mind, incorrect sizing or fit. Exchanges are not permitted. Once obtaining your online credit note we recommend that you use it to purchase an alternative size or style.
